Such a beast show !


Homie turned down a chance to be a "lion" , respectable...But ludicrous at the same time. He is better suited to be in Chucks position.

If there are actual fund managers that maneuver like this, at this extreme. It must be one epic life (exit game is exile $$, he is not serving a day in jail). Chuck is next level as well, his weakness is exposed...But he fights back HARD. Spotted the mole, used the mole to insert fake tips and had Ax going nuts. It is funny though, he fights for what is "right" and holds personal integrity at the utmost high, but fights hella dirty using the same means he despises Ax for using.


His contempt for people like Ax is still a mystery, he states he is fighting for the small people, the ordinary. But he isn't one, he is more of the 1 percent than Ax is. (Chuck is interested in higher position, an idea that appears to be planted by his dad and also avenging his dad for those that crossed him, that motive is still ____ not clear to me... Is he the master or the puppet?) .

Wendy low key is a real dominator (her sexual adventure is a clear indication of her own personality, she projects it subtly, she controls two powerful men), she is mad important to both, she knows it and she uses it when need be. They both even agreed it is sad that she left lol. She is mediator between the two and without her, it is going to be a war zone lol, is she now the cause of war? over a woman though . She cleared 5 Mill, easy work , an Aston Martin for free . Her control of her emotions is on par with Ax, might even be better as she has no one to rely on. Although she will be back, her exit is clean.

I don't think Brian will take the job, would be interesting if he did though. I guess it would be him vs his girlfriend type thing similar to Mr. &Mrs. Rhodes

 

Ax pitch to recruit Brian, although a great speech, it was weak. Brian knows with his capability and knowledge, he is like Lebron James during free agency for law/investment firms. IT is not about the money for him, the $$ incentive is a given, he has to sell him on a belief. Sell him the idea that he will be working for the greater good (him and chuck a few episodes back were laughing at the fact that Chuck got offered $9mill, his name printed on the building, coming in as a partner... and they chuckled at that, they know where they stand and it affirmed their importance, opportunities are boundless )

He is losing respect for Chuck, Chucks inability to win the right way is a form of weakness in his eyes. On a side note, Ax's ability to understand situations and people is next level. He inserted himself at the right time both to recruit Brian and keep Wendy close to his side.

 

That last confrontation with Axe and Rhoades was GREAT

Axe: "Why are you going after me?"

Rhoades: "Cuz you're a criminal Bob!"

I only wish it happened earlier in the season and the finale could've ended with just a brawl between the two

Finale was real dope. Both sides took some defeats, had false starts, had to semi-start over again, and took some Ls.

Rhoades played Axe with the bug in his offices but Rhoades took the real Ls with Wendy leaving him and him having nothing on Axe currently.

Wendy was smart getting her 5 mil. Still want Axe to release those photos to hurt Rhoades if he has to though. I really don't see why Axe doesn't do it right now to end Chuck's career. There'll be nothing he could do to get Axe at that point other than try to kill him.

Probably because of Wendy, he can't go 100 on him then because it will also affect Wendy, whom he cares for, sometimes even more so than his wife lol. Ax knew deep down she is loyal, but in the business you can't "trust" anyone, specially when you are shady and she gained that trust by going after him, slowly. she is a beast, she got alpha to open up, she knows that game plan well (it took AX that long to build that trust). Him exposing the files he had on her without fact checking the leak was a break down of trust between the two, he probably could have just asked, his assumption that she did not know he was shady prior to that and could've exposed him way sooner was a weakness in his reading and the obvious fact that Rhoades clearly would be the first suspect. In order to show her loyalty, she single handily recorded the convo (Loyalty and trust is big to her too), which in turned got the case dropped. She got paid for that, proved her loyalty... She is definitely coming back . Probably, she will get offered the F'u money.

 

Because the show would be over. Gotta fill up season 2 somehow.

 

In essence yeah but maybe there's some way I aint think of he could keep his job and strike back at Axe.

Right now seems Axe aint doing it cuz he cares and has some loyalty to Wendy but to me it's the ultimate scorched Earth move to hang over Rhoades head. He said he'll get rid of the pics but I know his guy got copies.

All Rhoades would need to do is get something equally as damaging and then they could be in a cold war and go at each other that way.

 

this show isnt appreciated enough.

that finale was fire.

i cant stand chuck and his team but that just proves theyre good actors. 

 

How they find the mole that quick? That was some ********. It took them way more time to find the offshore accounts for the police officers. You instantly pull the janitors financials?!?! That cleanup at axe capital is small money, but it definitely ****** with his peace that night.

Wendy is really the lead in this show IMO. As stated earlier, she low key controls the two main men. I wanted to see what she had to say before axe blew up at her. If I had to bet, she was ready to pledge allegiance since he knew she had been looking around. He pulled those cards with the freak files. I wish we could see chucks reaction.

 

Yeah they did not explain AT ALL how they even had a clue it was the janitor that was the mole leaking **** to Axe.

Also I would've at least liked after stripping the offices bare Axe would've realized he got played and that his contact's mole was burnt before Chuck showed up to gloat and have that great argument.

 

Remember Chuck told the chick to check everyone on the floor. It's just funny how quick it came back when you see how much time passed for them to find those off shore accounts.

Has anyone seen info about the start of season two? Will it be in the fall, or will we wait til 2017?

 

It was quickly renewed and given the other hit shows on Showtime coming back and new shows they're trying I'd say expect S2 the same time next year.

They got Ray Donovan, Penny Dreadful and half hr comedies for the summer. Then Homeland and I guess Masters of Sex for the fall. Maybe another new hr drama debuting in the summer and this coming back next year. I'm probably forgetting a few other hr shows they have that are doing well.

 

This show is one of the best shows I've seen. Excellent acting and the storylines are amazing. Watching Rhoades and Axe match wits is like watching Bird and magic duel on the basketball court.

 

That final showdown between Axe & Rhoades was great. Those two egos colliding is what makes this show a must watch. Mark my words, Rhoades will get the best of Axe, unlimited resources and nothing to lose.

Axe the god will come out on top. Rhodes can't even stand on his own two feet, calling in favors from Daddy. And kissin ***. Not to mention he has a weak constitution. I don't know much about that BDSM but that submissive **** points to weakness in my eyes.

Kinda hitting me now that this season is over. Got less and less to look forward on Sunday nights.

 

I just watched the finale. Great show, great season.
I cant help but feel like if a similar scenario was to go down in real life it wouldnt happen like it does in the show though.
I wonder if Wendy's coming back for season 2
