Was lucky enough to get a pair . Congrats to all those who were able to get a pair . For those who couldn't I highly suggest you waited it out for a bit to allow prices to drop and a chance for restock

Chiva,... nice. Not feelin the shoe, but if I realized what it said on the sole, I woulda tried for a pair in my size. :smokin
 
Here's what I came home with.

No camping, no resell, no hassle....

Just wish I was able to get a size 10 in the Royal's though...

Yeah, you're probably right. It's also the nature of the internet that people are more likely to chime in when they disagree than post just to say they agree with somebody else. So, everybody sees when two people go at it, but they don't see when they co-sign one another.

Quick story on the Pillar's.. I've wanted a pair since they came out, but couldn't find them or didn't have the cash at the time to get them. I take a work trip (where I'm at now. Augusta, GA). I almost pulled the trigger on them a while back but didn't for retail, $180. I come out here and find them for $99 on clearance! Got that military discount and got them for $80. Just goes to show you patience pays off. And it's crazy how different parts of the country have different tastes.
 
Tried the "RSVP" program via Twitter for the 1st time with having present knowledge of the "RSVP bots". I knew my chances were slim but i tried anyway. so I entered my info manually and lucked up. Shoutout to NikeTown Chicago View media item 272059

heard they were a diff shade of blue than the 01's, but i can't see it in pix so far (only diff standing out to me is the bolder nike air font, which they've been using since the banneds... the 2001's had a slimmer logo and letters)...

i want that box...

can't justify buying a pair when i hardly wear my clean '01 pair tho...
