chrono cross delivered. i kinda want this game but i don't see myself having the time to play it as im entering the end of my electrical engr schooling
...besides i put final fantasy 7 on my psp, and STILL haven't finished it

it was MADE for PS3.. Its being "ported over" to XBOX.. so you should deff buy for PS3 if you have 1

After 6 years in the making FFXIII better be the best game of the whole series. Especially since they could've been working on a remake of any of the PS1 FFs right now or even final mix them like Kingdom Hearts to flesh out some things more.

if i remember correctly, hybrid said something along the lines of most of that time being spent on making the crystal tools engine multiplatform and not on the game itself

been waiting for years.
i myself am disappointed with the linear story but i hope its still open a little. i liked bein able to travel from city to city doin random sidequests or searching for items.

Can you give me a link or send it to me? I tried ripping it myself but it always freezes in battle, don't know why.
Linear gaming seems kinda lame. I don't have Xbox or PS3, but i'll probably cop either system before the game releases cause I played almost every FF game except 9, even Crystal Chronicles and all the Tactics.

I've been waiting for this game for so long and I will get it day one on ps3. It honestly could have been so much more but again it is Square Enix's first time with this next gen hardware so whatever but I'm afraid about this game's lasting appeal.

No side quests. No towns. Nobody to talk to. No equipment to buy or change. No New Game+. No reason to play this game.

Good lord fanboys every year cry about how Square will never top FF7. People are deathly afraid of change. FF10 w/blitzball > FF7 imo. Just play the game and enjoy, stop worrying about if it's going to stack up against others.
Whenever something new comes out someone will always say, "It's going to suck." before they even try it out first. That way if the game actually does suck, they can come back in here, quote themselves and then say, "See. I told this game would suck
". Just so they can look like some sort of 'guru' on NT.
