Went to Vegas this past weekend

Drove in from LA, arrived around 9pm on Saturday

Stayed at Hard Rock for the first time

Got the room for free and while the place isn't bad at all, I wouldn't stay there again unless its for free again or I was on a real tight budget

Went to XS Saturday night, Diplo was spinning and it was a good time

Tinder in Vegas

Only gambled Sunday afternoon and left Vegas up $500 from blackjack

Traffic back to LA was brutal

Successful weekend overall though

Man that drive was painful. Took like 6.5 hrs

Checked out Drais Saturday night. I liked the setup but unfortunately the pool area wasn't completely open. It wasn't packed but that was ok since I was with my girl anyway

Some of the big clubs have smaller hip-hop rooms (Hak, Marquee). As for an entire club, what you'll find more is open format, which is a little bit of everything. Tryst, 1Oak, Tao, The Bank, Hyde, etc. are good for that. Most true hip-hop nights are during the week when it's an industry crowd and not as many tourists. Even Light does a hip-hop night on Thursdays now. Mondays at XS are pretty much trap and open format these days.
