OFFICIAL HOCKEY THREAD: NHL, KHL, NCAA, IIHL

i know Bad Religion Bad Religion is happy....4-1 loss in a game 7 cup final for us is like poetic justice for him

 I was thinking that last night, but it doesn't bring and sort of peace to my mind.

Seeing St Louis win as a late 60's/early 70's expansion team just reminded me of how Vancouver still hasn't won. Imagine the AlonzoThinking.gif before shotgunning a beer.

Interesting marketing strategy.

A quick Google shows they have been known to cancel season ticket accounts as punishment for reselling... seriously? That's ridiculous.

Did you resell your playoff seats at all...?

Last year yes. This year no. Honestly I had originally planned on attending each and every game. That changed when my mom died 10/1/2017. This past season I went to about half the regular season games and all 3 playoff games. I got no warning whatsoever and just signed a 4 year commitment.

I got curious and looked this up on Reddit and it sounds like it was a big deal last year with people getting their seats revoked. What exactly is the “knights vow” it sounds like you’re not allowed to resell at all? Also I’m assuming that the contract for the tickets means they can revoke them at any time for any reason.

Yeah the contract they make you sign gives them the right to revoke them at any time. Thing is they sell whole rows out to brokers who resell, but if one measly guy like myself sells half the games they get the boot. The Knights Vow is strictly for playoff seats. With that they take away the option to resell and you get like 25% off.

It'd be one thing if they weren't just begging me for a 4 year commitment 3 months ago. Right after they announced their price hikes. No warning whatsoever either.

My first year price was $1195. Last year it shot up to $1575. Next year would have been $2000 with 8% increases yearly after that.

Damn. Did u dirty. Their a hot ticket in Sin City tho. If you were reselling not that surprised. That first year bought them ALOT of leeway to figure these things out

Yeah I mean I could understand if they actually had a set of rules and went by the book, but they don't. Like I said before, I know for a fact they allow brokers to buy out entire rows to flip on the secondary market. I also know of people that live out of state and attend less games than I do that still have their tickets. I got no warning nor any specific guidelines to abide by.

Still not over G7. First period crushed my soul. Hold me, bros.

DeadsetAce DeadsetAce , if you tryna drink (and or die), I'm rollin' up to the Seattle summit with 151 and Everclear.

If EK can't stay healthy that's gonna be a trainwreck deal.

Sharks only have 7 forwards under contract right now, four being 4th liners and 14m left in cap space. Pavelski might not be back.

EK65 back :nthat:
Hopefully, we can work out something with Timo for the time being.

As much as I'd hate to lose Pavelski, I think it's time, especially with the money he'll be asking for at age 35 and his skating, which was never fast to begin with, looking like Dany Heatley out there in his final years. Like damn, I see his legs moving but it looks like he's on treadmill and not going anywhere. Just a PP specialist at this point moving forward.

Seems to be a lot of internal debate among Dallas media people whether it's worth trying to re-sign Mats. Critics saying he shouldn't get a contract more than what Radulov got, but completely disregarding the higher salary cap.

With the emergence of Dickinson, just let Spezza walk and give Mats that money.

gotta sign him, he's 30+ but the way he plays that shouldn't matter
