Blackhawks need to get some wingers for their bottom lines.....having good 2nd and 3rd line guys is what won us that cup...

I think a real 1D is harder to come by, but i'd rather take a 1C.and yeah i know that doesnt make sense.

We need to find some way to re-sign Bieksa. He has stated he will sign for less to stay with Vancity.
Also, someone needs to teach Daniel and Hendrik what "back-checking" is.

Minor tweaks. Hopefully we can build on the crushing heartbreak and deep depression that has set in in my heart. 

 

Am I the only one that says 1D?

All those years watching the trap has swayed my mind

 

I think a 1D is more harder to come by nowadays. It's so hard to develop D-Men because of all the responsibilities the D-Man needs to do for his team to succeed.

People want to score goals. Not bring the puck up, pass it, get laid out and then backskate once the opposing side gets the puck. People could care less about the primary assist. Let alone, the secondary but defense has a place in my heart.

Being an elite defenseman isn't all about skill set. It's an art to play D.

 

"People" being the fans or the players? Either way, I definitely think a #1 Defenseman is harder to come by than a top line center. However, I think each position is tough to master in its own way.......I don't believe too much in saying ___ position is harder to play than ____ position. I started out as a D then moved to forward and whenever I go back to D I always find it a bit easier for some reason.

Speaking of Centers, hope the Leafs can land somebody that will compliment Phil, cause Bozak is complete garbage and is a 3rd line Center on any other team

 

People = fans.

To me, there's nothing better then that first tape-to-tape breakout pass. Then, the sound of puck hitting the blade is music to my ears.

Congrats to Perry. He carried our team along with Selanne to the playoffs with some HUGE shots, its a shame that Hiller wasn't healthy.

Timmy's last three seasons.. my god. 2 Vezinas, a Cup, silver medal, jennings trophy, save pct record, lead the league in both major categories twice.. not bad.
