I really don't think he was ever going to coach again. He was turning down big payday head coaching gigs for years until he got fired

But I think more importantly what you mentioned anout yiung legs is true. I also think not having a superstar right now that we HAVE to feed is great. Harden prefers to make plays for others at this stage so that works out perfectly for this team without Kawhi. Even when Kawhi comes back, I think his style of play/attitude will fit in. Play defense and shoot open shots.

with the older dudes like kawhi and pg then add in harden and thats a 100+ years old of legs , they get tired by the 4th and probably why they usually have issues securing the rebound on defense to close out the games

in the last few minutes, yah there was a possession where the kings got a handful of shots but they were desperate and heaving shots leaving long rebounds but that last few minutes, i saw the youngins boxing out, filling the paint, jumping and grabbing those necessary rebounds



also currently 5th in the west, probably wont last but hey most expected this team to not even make the play-in and they have already beaten some tough teams in the west

I think rhat's why Mann fit so well with those guys. I used to tell my brother that we had 3 old dudes who were no longer willing to dive for loose balls or do all that little dirty work. I didn't blame them either. Then you had Zu who was too big to do that. So mann was left to do it.

Now we have a bunch of guys willing to do all that and I think it adds up to making us the 6th best defense in the league. For as much as I talk **** about KPj, even he gives great effort on defense.

Last night's game was a classic scheduled loss. 3rd game in 4 nights, plus on the road and against the best team in league while missing keys players.

Wiz on a 7 game losing streak and missing their best scorer.

Please don't play down to the comp. The only chance Washington should have to beat us is if they go crazy from 3. Any other outcome should be a win for us. Win then 1st, pile on in the 2nd and 3rd, and hopefully rest the starters in the 4th.

Zero updates on Kawhi is such a joke. Silver should start fining the team.

I was driving back from NorCal so didn’t get to see the game, but glad to know they took care of business easily.

Was kind of worried about Miller’s scoring prowess translating to the big NBA because his game is kind of unorthodox and he’s a good, but not top-tier athlete. So far, so good though.

Maybe he’s kind of like Cedric Ceballos in his heyday, who just had a knack for putting the ball in the hoop.
