MFers are in S H A M B L E S.
crazy to think that the two pitchers who helped close out WS games will be goneI'm still thinking about it and I don't understand how we don't bring Walker back.
He didn't miss in the playoffs besides the one game in the DS and that wasn't all his fault.
This guy on shorter rest pitched out of the pen and got 3 outs.....
I hope and pray we working something with Walker....
I'm just not with this depiction "Just like the Yankees but worse!"
They've literally been doing this for
D E C A D E S.
Their 27 championships didn't just come from an excellent farm system.
AND FOURTEEN WS LOSSES!
FOH
I never said it's the same thing, but "It's not the same thing!" is a disingenuous rebuttal, because no 2 things being compared are the same.Show me one time in Yankee history where they bought 3 MVPs in their primes in a 4 year period.
Again, I dont blame the Dodgers one bit for doing this. They are operating within the rules and not doing anything wrong. But give me a break Ska. You have been trying to use examples from 100 years ago, as well as making comparisons that arent even close to the same thing.
The first year back from TJ, or TJ-like surgeries, aren't exactly promising either so I wouldn't be against this. Knowing him, he's anxious to pitch so a good compromise could be coming out the pen a couple innings a week. Shohei has shown how special he can be when focusing on just hitting, and there's more that can be tapped into as well, so I'd be interested to see how he follows up the 50/50 season.I know this might seem odd, but if I am the Dodgers GM, after signing Roki which we all know will happen, I would bring Shohei in for a sit down meeting and basically say:
"Look, I know you are a great pitcher. And if you are against this idea completely, we don't have to explore it. But I think it would be wise for you to just hit for this team."
It maximizes his bat and you damn sure don need his arm. Minimizes injury risk. Win win for your team. Plus he already got his bag, so he isnt hurting his wallet by not being a 2 way player anymore.
Snell
Yamamoto
Glasnow
Roki
Miller/May/Gonsolin
That's the best rotation in baseball already.
somebody gotta explain the appeal of this guy. he looks like a nerd.
