I played extensively in my black/gym red pair and the uppers were the part that looked the best.  So much so that I sold them on ebay relatively quickly and for a decent price considering how much I played in them.

well i only have one pair of xx9 mid, and that's the playoff pack colorway so i can only speak on those, my other xx9 were lows.
