There was also a stipulation in the split that he could not wear shoes from the same brand for X amount of consecutive games, I want to say it was 3-4 games. So he HAD TO mix it up.

That's right, I forgot about that stipulation during his sneaker free agency. I think he only tried out Nike/Jordan & Reebok in games during that season.
I really hope Jordan Brand releases both of the custom VII he wore one day. I always thought those were the best pairs he wore that season.
