I'm more impressed that Veras was able to get someone out than Joba's 12 k's.

I could see why Joe was doing this if they had somebody good warming up, but he's brought in Veras. Veras should be only pitching in blow outs until hegets things worked out.

I wanted to see Joba get strikeout #13 (and striking out the side 3 innings in a row).

12 K's for Joba in 6 (1/3?) innings of work. He was brilliant tonight (despite the 1st inning, which, at one point, I forgot he had).
