Idk live..not saying that the Spurs don't have a huge homecourt advantage might be a little stretch.

It's the Finals, and we have to play there 3 times straight...

Key stretch, Heat up 5-6-7 points or so, three open looks for Battier that could have extended, he bricked all 3.

Things like that haunt you. They got Ray on track, Shane needs to join him.

Always wished the NBA had a neutral court for the finals. Kinda like the Super Bowl but for 7 games. But things would be weird like that

EXCATLY he actually had two wide open threes on the same possesion and bricked both. could pushed the lead to 10.

that would actually be awful to watch from a fan standpoint :x

NFC/AFC championship crowds are the most intense all year.

2-3-2 has existed since 85'.

2-3-2 format introduces a lot of pressure that's not there in earlier rounds.

There's even more pressure to win Game 2 now, because that middle 3 on the road is a scary.

Not sure how much this actually factors into the minds of pro basketball players

They adopted the 2-3-2 in mid eighties because of the 84 Finals, Boston to LA, 3,000 + miles, the media/tv hated the back and forth. I have the 85 series on DVD and they talked about the 2-3-2 format a ton.

NBA just stuck with it since then. But if you look, makes no sense. No travel now, 2 full days before game 2. But then only 1 day before game 3. 2 more days off before game 5, only one day off (a travel day) for game 6.

They just don't want to travel city to city between a game 5, 6 and 7 is all.
