Shai reminds me of a slower Delon Wright,

Wright has a bit more burst but they have similar limitations

Wright managed to turn himself into an effective back up point despite a shaky of a pull up jumper,

I didn't realize SGA attempted so little 3's, however encouraging that he still converts at a good rate the few he does take

Also Sexton def gets to the line much more than SGA

SGA been shooting up the board though, I was very undecided on him but I don't think I can deny his potential anymore

Glad u guys are on the SGA boat. He really has the tools to be a very good PG. Where he gets drafted/opportunity will determine his career arc.

I thought Frank Ntilikina would basically be what SGA is now :smh:

I have no doubt that SGA can be a solid rotation player for somebody. I just don't know if he can be a starting PG in the league with lack of burst, low 3pt and low FT attempts. Satoransky-ish maybe?

Wasn't aware of that. How about Greivis? Tall, crafty backup PG.

Frank will be fine. He's already one of the better defensive guards in the league. Offense needs a lot of work, but he's the 2nd youngest player in the league and it's his first year in the US. Lots of adjustment...Even if he ends up just being Marcus Smart, it's still a very impactful player.

Lol calm down. Post injury Livington's impact is actually still very impressive. High level role player for SGA isn't too horrible of an outcome

Problem with the Spencer and Greveis comparisons is that those guys were 3-4 year college players. SGA is old though for a freshman (turning 20).

Was Lillard considered safe? I feel like he was largely unknown.

Another one of my draft rules is Never trust any upperclassmen that’s comsidered safe or NBA ready ...they end up disappointing more than they work out

Yes, but they all have similar physical limitations. If SGA were to stay 4 years in college, would he be substantially better than Greivis who put up 20/6/5? He's still going to be a tall, crafty PG that lacks burst.

I'd be shocked if Mikal busts. Huge improvement every year, length, IQ, and 3 ball. Hard to bust with those attributes.

Generally I agree with this sentiment, however it's all about expectation

With those guys that pmatic listed, they were all expected to be elite NBA players

With Bridges, I think the consensus is that the realistic outcome is a high level role player, so the expectations from the gate are tempered

    Who's dombouya from France? :nerd:

Really not too high or hyped for next years class

People love reddish and Barrett but I'm not really hyped like that

Guess it's too much to ask for 4 really good consecutive draft classes
