997 ua arrived. Not as plush as the gold standard butterscotch, but no toe dents, so 9/10.

I’m loving those NB1s, V! I’m considering doing a similar colorblocked design but in Red (word to the AM1!).

I’m comparing how the nubuck on the NB1 998s is to my recent AM1iD and other AM1 releases this year, and the material on the NB1s definitely has a soft premium feel to it compared to Nike.

I know I can grab the Anniversary AM1 at a significantly lower cost than the NB1, but NB’s quality is far superior to that of Nike’s. And I’m okay with paying the “premium” over the original.

Last color wheel had so many collar liner options & other possibilities... This color wheel I focused on brown/earthy hues (& I was right to do so with "dark shale" constantly selling out after 10-15 day; twice). I'm now around to getting back to essentials after trying this new uncharted color wheel. If "Dark Shale" does not come back, I want to make this revised version I have saved of "Planet Earth" (Perf Toe).

This is throwing me back to high school when I had these timberland field boots, same blue color suede with rust perforated suede inserts (instead of the canvas they use on most). I cannot find a pic online but damn!

I really, really like these things. It’s full on winter now, but I don’t know if I can bring myself to wear these things in the snow. I’m digging them too much.

Wore my Black Panther ones on a 2 mi hike up a mountain. comfy and kept my feet dry!

Today’s haul. Went TTS in the 997S and they fit just right. Got my usual v4 size (.5 down) for the FEG pair but probably cause of the material they’re more snug than normal. Might have to switch and go TTS. Maybe they’ll stretch?
