The one I ordered had a suede bottom... Not the leather bottom which is listed now... I have the same one in brown which I may get rid of if this one comes in

yea seems like they dropped before the initial release. NB lifestyle has been a dumpster fire in terms of handling releases both limited and new models. Has there been a change in management for lifestyle? I feel like ever since Eric left everything has gone down hill. Never thought I would see the day that Yeezy is easier than NB and I don’t think it’s hype because GRs are going on sale quicker than I have seen in the past. Based upon IG it seems like Joe Grondi will let boutiques do whatever as long as they Grease him up a little

Yea, this is why things should just be centralized at NB. Most of these boutiques are releasing at their own discretion and charging more than retail. Apparently accurately reporting allocation and ensuring the pairs are sold at MSRP for 1-2K pairs of shoes between 10 boutiques is too complicated for the folks across the pond.

i find 991 a bit short in the front but a bit wide on the side. when i do my normal size i have to replace the stock insole with a thinner one.

i'm not a redwing historian but it's a rough leather rather than the standard tanned smooth leather commonly seen. both part of rw's heritage.
