    i need the blk/white duraback joints...i check ebay all the time and can never find my size :smh:

    i've got the leather 05 retro but it's not the same

    I had the all white color way in high school back in 96. These will Definitely be a nostalgic purchase.

    The 2005's don't look bad with leather upper. In fact, I enjoy that they are easier to clean, but they just don't give me the warm feeling. It's is far from an original retro considering the materials used and the fact that the nike swoosh on the toe box is black as opposed to the original.

    Also the originals had a black plastic swoosh on the back heel instead of white like the 2005 and 2010's. So...... We have yet to see a true retro.......

    Lol Never ripped the inner lineing with the pippens but I have had that happen to me in a couple of shoes that I wore for waaay too long. I wore them into the grownd and then some.

    After 11 years..... Adidas Forum mid lol

    Couldn't agree with you more!!! More air! Fatter and looked more like a bubble

    ^very true but having a popped bubble now days is almost unheard of and back then everyone knew multiple people with popped bags, yeah it would be nice but its not a deal breaker as long as you can see the bag at all that is.

    I can't believe I missed out on the Black/White pair in 2010. I'm hoping they retro those soon, same thing with the all white leather one's.

    You have a good point about to blown air bags. It just looks more dynamic with the bubble. Theres gotta be a better way. They will prevail i think.

    oh def, looks wise the bubble needs to be bigger for sure, an OG bubble would make me shed a little tear and my third fav shoe ever needs an OG bubble too, the penny 1! oh and give me a dang air ubiquitous retro already in the volt colorway!

    Design of these is kinda growing on me.

    Hated the look of the big "AIR" when I was young :lol: . Looks so tacky to me.

    But hey, the pair Pip wore in the '96 Playoffs is sweet.

    Like many of you guys I too love this shoe. My love for the shoe grew even more back in 96 when I wanted these as a kid and my pops got me the Black Air Much Uptempo's instead :lol:
    I knew then it wasn't the same but man did I love those because it was as close as I got back then! When they released the white retro in 02, I went and got those to hold me over until we got a proper retro of the black color way. When the 05 black leather pair came out, I wouldnt even come near those. Those were absolutely terrible. Finally in 2010 we got the real deal. The only complaint on those were the Air unit size but other than that it was a great retro!

    I dont mind the Air much uptempos either.

    It's crazy that Nike actaully has 4 different names for the pippen black and whites 1.)Nike Air More Tempo. 2.) Nike Air More Uptempo 3.) Nike Air Much Upempo 4.) Don't remember. lol

    I dont mind them now either. But as a kid when you want one and get there other lol...
    Its dope when you see someone with them on now a days. May be more rare than a pair of More Uptempos!

    Those OG all white with blue air bubble would have been perfect shoe for the summer. Still remember as a kid I used to cut grass in those all white joints after one of the shoe air bubble popped and got all foggy from skate boarding in them :lol:.

    The regular black/white shoe was the first shoe that I really remember wanting as a kid. When I finally found them in my size and got my parents to actually buy them I was so happy. Saw the Olympics on the shelves these last years but I NEED a retro of the black/white ones. I´m from Germany I don´t think we had any chance to get the 2010 release.
