OFFICIAL Nike Air More Uptempo OG BLK/WHT 414962-002 APRIL 2016

Here's my gently used OG pair. A proper retro with durabuck would be nice. I really wasn't feeling that last retro with leather.

 

I would purchase again if retro'd.

when these finally released more widespread as mentioned above..... in 2012? can't recall anymore, that was the time to be aggressive. i was almost about to buy those "limited" HOH pairs, but good thing I waited.

I think the only people who bought these are those who actually were teens/young adults back in the 90s.

im sure most of the people in this thread are late 20s, or 30+

this style these days for these youngins dont think will fly unless theres mad hype around em.

i actually liked the black/white OG colorway better than the olympics simply becuase I was never able to get the OGs at the time, I even copped the first retro with that different material, then when the "2nd" retro of them released that actually was more true to OGs, i flipped those other ones to buy the more true to OG retro.

and now any of these seem scarce on ebay. more proof our generation actually buys these shoes to keep/wear

 

man, I kinda regret not buying the black with a bit of green that released two years ago. I managed to get the Olympics, but I was waiting for the black ones to drop to half off.

 

even the one bubble version was sick back in the day.. air much uptempo. it was kinda nice when nike didnt over do releases and all sorts of colors

 

I must of miss something? Because this shoe back in the day had at least 20 CW's.

 

yeah, I remember a lot of cw in this as well. Can't say 20+, but a lot more than the air more. it even had quite a few when it was re-released in the early '00s.

 

always appreciated these... another release would be nice

 

I don't know how this happened but I remember in 2010 when the black and whites came out I couldn't find a pair anywhere. Then 2 years later around tax time I go in the mall and cop me some new balances from shoe city, then I go down to jimmy jazz and what do I see on the shelf.

The black and whites . I look at the display shoe and its my size. I copped

 

I think the 2010s were a real limited release I copped from FNL don't even remember seeing them in stores

 

nobody would be caught dead in these day in the day.

kinda like the single sole 6in timberlands that didnt have the lealth on top.

 

I had the white/red (with 3m air letters) much uptempos back in the day. Which is kind of rare to even find pics of now. Got for $40 from A&N...the most my mom would pay for sneakers. I would probably cop again if released.

yeah the takedown model, they arent bad but the full visible bubble was that ish back in the day especially since they had full sized bubbles not these teenie tiny bubbles they give us now

 

I was a youngin so I can't account for too much but I know all the kids had the take down model.

 

well i believe the take down model was like $80 cheaper as well so it makes sense

To be honest I'm highly disappointed in these. At first sight I thought these were a VC retro.
It just doesn't look like it belongs in belongs/falls in line with the Pip lineage. They completely abandoned the minimalist approach they adopted for his previous models.

 

That pippen shoe sucks. I hope it gets scrapped just like the latest barkley model. If dolce had anything to do with this its clear to me he didnt give a damn no more. Even the color doesnt make sense. Definitely a slap in the face to alot of people.

 

I like the look of these more than pippen 3,4,5, and penny 5s
