Random, but that makes me think of a discussion I had in college with a buddy a couple dorms down. I (white guy) was telling him (black guy) how I was jealous because white shoes generally look a lot better against darker skin (wearing shorts). That same conversation lead to my discovery of "ashy" skin. If you've ever seen the Bill Burr bit about lotion, it was nearly the same thing
