im excited to hear the news on a july release. im just hoping they pump out some nice colors. ID would be awesome! these things are crazy light and it's just mind boggling how it's put together with it all intertwined. this flyknit stuff is something new and exciting regardless of what sole they put it on. so bummed my HTMs are too big. although it looks really weird on the lunar trainer sole in that pic. too bulky looking. what he's rocking is definitely not the same lunar sole on the flyknit trainers. they probably feel the same though, just the aesthetics aren't right in my opinion.

i'm wondering what the comfort level is for casual wear on the racer vs the trainer.

 

Agree on the trainers, seriously for running, I'd rather have lunaracers, my fav running shoes ever. These two models just remind me of the lunaracers and the streak 3's with alot of hype. Still want a pair of those flyknit racers though

 

The last time Nike had a similar combo with Lunaracer/LunarTrainer, I felt the trainers were more comfy because they had more cushioning compared to their counterpart. Performance-wise, they were both GREAT shoes. I trained in both, but I chose the LT for one my full marathons.

Then again... who knows how the FKs will be since they have different midsole set-ups.

The only thing I don't like about the Racers (aesthetically) is the Black outsole. If it was any other color but Black, I'd consider... #justmethough

 

I hope that July 7th guess is right cause that's just around the corner. This is definitely one of the releases this year that I'm looking forward to. I just hope nike doesn't tease us too long and/or make 'em hard to get.

I'm not a fan of the FK Racers. The FK Trainers are all right, BUT the LunarTrainer version above has me GEEEEEEKED to say the least! That version would definitely end the drought of disappointing Lunars if they actually release, imo.

I've been lurkin' in this thread for a minute. I was thinking the same thing. I hope this isn't a stupid question, but does Nike have lace locks? Those pictured on Lester look tight.

  

 

Kind of off topic, but pray for Jason Lester or keep him in your thoughts. This dude fell a couple days ago, and broke his collar bone on route during the "Journey for a Better World" trip. He actually is back running on the road as of this morning.

Nike should release the flyknit/lunartrainer shoe he's wearing and straight call it Flyknit Lester+.

 

These are so sick! Can't wait to get my hands on some.
