I try my best after an 14 hour shift, seeing my daughter run towards when I get home is the best felling tho
^^^ rip to you in 10 years lol. When the doctors announced it was a boy I felt like a won the damn mega million jackpot
True when I heard the news "your going to be a father" I was like 'oh well' When I heard "Your going to have a son" I was like awwwww yeaahhh notbad.jpg
Lol yes. Now when I buy shoes it's for "the both of us", when I watch sports it's "so he can learn", and when I'm on the Xbox it's "guy time" lol
Much love to my fellow NT dads. Keep doing your thing, fellas. I was given the opportunity to quit my job last March to be a stay-at-home dad for a few years. We don't have family around here that can watch her and it made no sense to pay for daycare 5 days a week. So I've spent every day with her since March 1st, 2012. Best 11 months of my life.
I'm just glad that I'm young enough to still do things with with my kids ( I have three boys 5,6,and 14). We skateboard together, play the Xbox, and we all love shoes and cartoons
Man being a stay at home dad is the best..You get to be there for everything, instead of coming home and hearing "Oh guess what________ did today"..I've been a s.a.h.d. for all 5 yrs of my son's life and there is nothing better..
Proud father of a baby girl, she just turned 2 last week. Them terrible 2's are REAL lol. Its not always easy to dral with her mother so i gotta swallow my tongue sometimes but its all worth it when im with my baby. Hearing her call for Daddy >>>
Proud dad here as well. Baby girl is 1. that teething stage is wild.... man ohh man... alot of sleepless nights buts it so worth it props to all NTDADS!!
we out here! just gave out about 37 reps. i feel u OP... 10 hr day come home n see her smiling face.... really puts all the work bs in perspective smiling or making rediculous faces dont matter. pure bundle of joy
Man, you ain't never lied. When I worked I'd leave at 7 AM before she even woke up, and then I'd get home at 6 PM, leaving about two hours before she went to bed. Felt like I never saw her. I know that's how most parents do things simply out of necessity, but it just didn't sit right with me. Thankfully things worked out the way they did. Sometimes it gets hard being here with her all the time, but then I think about how it used to be and that puts it all in perspective for me. I'm a truly lucky dude to be able to raise my daughter day in and day out.
Proud dad checking in; girlfriend going to school and taking care of baby while I work'! Wouldn't have it any other way; takes a lot to raise a family, props to all the NT fathers on here
single dad checking in oldest turning 8 soon, which is crazy. on the other hand mother of my 2 year old
my lil man is due in 2 weeks, and this is my only goal. i want him to be happy, but more imprtantly i want him to be his own man...dont follow weak people doing weak things.. so many nerves NT, cant enough!
trust me bro, if u are there u will be there role model. My son is only 14 months and is a sponge, everything i do he does.
