truthfully speaking, i believe this game will be on the most physical games of the year...

with baltimore escaping with the victory. i'm really amped for this game because this is a test to see who is legit out of the two. in my opinion, neither of the two (especially the ravens) have proved themselves yet.

Ehh, I got Steelers in this one. I'm not sure if the Ravens can score on Pitt's D.

Baltimore's defense isn't nearly as intimidating as it used to be, and their offense is as pathetic as it's ever been.

Steelers 27
Baltimore 13

And the only reason Baltimore scores a touchdown is because of a Roethlisberger mistake.

Not deaf like "What?"
But def like "What!"

But I don't know, it really all depends on how well our defense plays.

Even during the years when Baltimore was bad and Pittsburgh was great, Baltimore still put up a GREAT fight each and every time these two teams faced off.

Ravens: 20
Steelers: 17

his status has been updated since than, i heard. He might suit up and hit the field. And being that I'm all the way on the left coast, it's hard for me to keep up with the Ravens' televised games. But I had no idea they were plagued so severely with injuries :wow:

I can't see the Steelers losing being home on MNF with the "75th all time" team being announced and honored. Ben has played great so far

daaaaamn

i didn't know all that was going down next monday. This is going to make this Ravens win much more enjoyable after the final whistle is blown. peace for now.

funny thing is, this statement is so true. However, they still have the most revered defense that has the ability to dominate any game (see St. Louis Rams). And I don't care who was at the helm for the Rams, they still had Bruce and Holt.

Is Bart Scott still on the team? I am surprised that hit on Ben from last year hasn't popped up in this thread yet. Brutal. Thank God he is with it this year!

I never knew how much these 2 franchize's hate each other. I went to the Cards vs. Ravens game and in the middle of the 3rd quarter they show the Steelers score. The Raven crowd went wild like the whole stadium started boo'n
laugh.gif
then after the game when everybody was exit their seat some dude shouted "F*** the Steelers" and Ravens went crazy for like 20 minutes straight yelling "F*** the Steelers". These rivalary has to be one of the best in the NFL

is the spread on this game actually 9 points? I saw on a tv show that the spread was 9.... I was kind of shocked. I totally agree with the fact that this will be one of the most physical games of the year. No doubt about that. It will make for a close game IMO, but steelers come out on top in this one. 17-14 Steelers

Yeah, plus the cities really love their football (except Cincy which all of a sudden does). So it runs pretty deep. After further analysis, I am more nervous for this game than I thought. This will be more of a psychological win than anything else, the Ravens seriously dominated the Steelers last year. If they can get over that this year, I think it is cruising to the AFC North title. Ben just needs to keep playing smart, and McNair has to be contained (he always seems to have his best game of the year against the Steelers). LeBeau will think of something genius, I don't doubt that
