hopefully he has better hygiene than his brother

Nah didn't notice lol honestly Phil always seemed cool to me, I only knew him for that spring and summer though. Was weird to hear about his brother being a big part of Fox News like 8 years later.

My guy is 25 and 6 months out of college. Does he have a doctorate? And he's making $19/hour? Ouch. Must be nice having a room at a parent's house to crash in until you figure it out. Most of us just got dumped into the real world and had to figure it out for ourselves. Good at least that one boomer parent has started to understand.

"Back in my day"

$40,000 in the early 90s is about $80-90k in today's money.

Even though it’s Montgomery, AL, on a $40K/yr salary in 2023, you are going to have make some sacrifices in terms of your living situation anywhere in America. Why didn’t he look into living somewhere with a roommate that is okay with dogs?

I told y’all. Playbook is straight out of SNES :lol:

The government needs to step in and regulate. Federal, state and local level.

Residential real estate should be for people looking for housing not investors and hedge funds looking to expand their portfolio.
True, but it's kind of too late for that.

We've put an emphasis on voting for rich people and making fun of elected officials who come from more modest backgrounds (especially at the state/local level). People shouldn't be surprised that they look out for themselves and their friends.

yup so many older family members giving me dumb *** home buying advice.

acting like if I cut down on Ubereats id be able to afford a house in the city.

These are the real people YIMBY's need to convince.
Stop fighting with NIMBY socialists and fake libertarians on twitter.

EDIT;

I didn't read the rest of the extra long tweet.
of course it goes on babbling about shady corporations "buying up all the houses" and "greedy landlords"

instead of lack supply. :rolleyes
