Yeah but that ended over 50 years ago
I always thought the number was closer to 100 billion that a trillion. So I was a bit taken aback
But I have to remember that the price of gold has been going up for a while. So I probably heard a number close to 100 billion a long time ago and never thought to adjust it, because it is something no one besides Ron Paul, Trinidad James, and dudes at those "I buy gold" mall kiosks, really think about.
If I am Biden I'm am definitely selling some of that ****. Fund borrowing for a couple weeks, and finally buy a pair of UNC 3s with that is left over.
