Unless there is evidence that the president is actively doing something to aide anything illegal he is doing, I don't know what on earth anything to do with his son matters at all, other than an intentional diversion. It shows that some people have never had a friend or family member that was an addict, putting the blame for his actions on his octogenarion father. I've never seen anyone defend his actions, just being confused as to why it is part of the conversation.
