It all blew up because he rented a room from one of the militia people. Instead of charging his card for $50 a night like he thought they would, they tried to finesse and get $500 a night.

Accounts Payable called his manager, and it all went downhill after that.

He is refusing to reimburse the company, he wants them to call Chase and issue a chargeback

:smh:

People seem down on biden but...

Biden got delt a pretty bad hand, with inflation, omicron and narrow senate majority.

but if inflation clears up, and IRA passes (knock on wood),
is it just me or does his presidency look...pretty good so far?

dare I say really good considering the circumstance?

Time to give him what all snitches deserve.

Agreed, Biden gets blamed for a lot of things that he has no control over.

i do think so too but we'll see what narrative emerges. even before he started people already had their minds made up. I keep hearing how he's an awful president but it isn't really clear what he's done that's so awful. inflation, covid, supreme Court, etc are largely out of his control. the number of gaffes he's made is way lower than I would've predicted a decade ago. although slow and dangerous behind the wheel, Joe can still serve a purpose.

unfortunately the populace of the US is dumb as rocks and the GQP controls the narrative so anything small that goes wrong or the fact that he didn't cure COVID or clear out the national debt or create 20 billion well paying jobs in the first week is pounced on and portrayed as fail.

to add to people being dumb as rocks everyone expects him to unilaterally fix everything without consideration to the 300ish people getting in his way across the Capitol. When Trump handed out empty promises they even had control of congress but the base bought it because dumb as rocks. When Biden tries and gets obstructed, terrible job.

that said, as with any president he could do better but he got dealt a REALLY bad hand to start and he's still holding a low two pair but trying to make it work.

Let Biden cancel student loan debt and issue tax credits to folks that recently (past... 10 years?) paid off their loans. His presidency will go down as one of the best ever with how booming the economy would be (post-recession/inflation).

I hope he does cancel student loans. But the threshold for 125k per individual and 225k for families is bull****. If it's going to be a threshold, it should be relative to where you live. 125k in the populous states is not equal to 125k in South Dakota or some other middle of America state. I am blessed to be making more than that. However, I am in CA. It don't spend like it do in Alabama.

Cancelling student loan debts isn't happening. Folks gotta stop day dreaming like the people that played the lottery last week

Having people in debt is a tool used to control the populace and make them obedient and less likely to rebel

Wonder if China actually tries to do anything with that Pelosi trip to Taiwan.

US moved a battle cruiser there and I’m sure there are a few more in the region along with an aircraft carrier and a fighter escort is a given.

Whats the time-tested method to pull a country out of a recession?

JPow hikes rates, slams inflation down to 1-2%, we enter a recession because of it, and then wage war against China to climb out of that recession.
