he really did regress the last two seasons but with all that ability, potential, and arm talent, would be hard to pass up late in the draft or as a free agent. Coaching him up can go a long way

Either way, I think we can all agree that a viable backup QB is needed. Now I'm not saying draft one in the early rounds but if we can find talent late in the draft or an aging FA who wants a chance at ring and will sign a minimal contract (hopefully knowing acquiring our upcoming FA's is going to be a very tough task regarding salary cap)

I know we have an abundance of RB's but man, if Kadeem Carey slips far enough I would love to have this guy on the squad. I DO think Hunter is a VERY good back and if Lattimore is truly back to himself then disregard my comments on Kadeem.

I like LMJ a lot but there simply is no room for him on this team, he constantly complains about not being used enough as well. I think he will be a good player elsewhere, maybe we can get a mid-round pick for him?

that team was ridiculous and one of the big reasons there's a salary cap. eddie D was sick of dallas beating the niners so he went all out and brought in some biiiig names(deion sanders, ken norton jr, gary plummer, ed mccaffrey, etc.) [IMG][IMG]

i hope Devin Hester's contract price tag isn't too high. if we could pick him up for the sole purpose of returning kicks and punts, i wouldn't think twice about letting LMJ walk.

with how good the defense is at winning the battle of field position, we need a sure-handed returner

The thought of having Devin Hester back there is :wow: :pimp:

Just depends on what his asking price is obviously because I'm sure he would love to play for a contender, but we have to be very careful with our money in the next 2 years especially.

Also, don't forget we are getting a brand new stadium and is sure to help attract FA's

I haven't followed the Bears, is Hester even close to what he used to be? The guy will turn 32 next year.
