Reub will then proceed to go to the blue tent to get looked at after lighting up Mahomes. Then come back in the next play.

Just saw this video. Man I’m hyped for Ferrari’s return! Such a relief to have someone like him at the lb position. Aside from bowman when O’Neil was running our defense mannnnnnnnnn. But Witherspoon was playing on a bum ankle, and 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan took the blame for even putting Witherspoon in that situation.

“He wasn’t 100 percent, and he wanted to play, but after watching the tape and everything, I don’t think I should’ve had him (play),” Shanahan said on "49ers Game Plan," which airs on NBC Bay Area (Ch. 3) on Saturday at 7 p.m.

“I shouldn’t have played him last week because we didn’t get his best and he obviously wasn’t ready to do that, so I’m going to make sure that I don’t put him out there unless he is 100 percent. I think we’ll find that out (Sunday) before the game.”

I'd be surprised if we see those three on the field together. Malcolm Smith is not a SAM LB In this scheme. You don't want to him trying to contain against Travis Kelce in the run game. He'll get pancaked all the way to China.

The way Kyle is being coy makes me think we might see the three LBs(Smith, Warner, Foster) on the field together. They may have been working an adjustment behind the scenes that we aren’t considering.
