I hear you, but there was a huge debate about this some months back. And the general consensus was that people preferred team threads.

Most "official" threads don't even last. And believe it or not, there aren't as many as you may think. Look at the NBA. Thirty teams. But last year, only the Lakers, Warriors, Rockets, Nuggets, Raptors, Suns, Cavs, Knicks and Bulls had threads that went through the entire season. And a lot of them kept dropping to like the 3rd page.

I like team threads. Keeps everything (info, schedule, discussion) in one tidy place.

This might work out in our favor and could turn a few heads. It's obvious that 'Cuse is being shown what happens when you don't make the field of 65. In 2003, Syracuse won the national championship after being unranked in the preseason.

I'll assume we're unranked for a few reasons...

1. We have a lot of young and unproven guys on the college level
2. We have disapointed the last couple years when we began the year in the top 25 with good talent
3. They didn't want 5 BE teams in the top 25

Jrell, i also think that this works in our favor that we aren't ranked. The team also, has somewhat of the same feel too.
A few good freshman, some veterans, and i think this will be a good year. There won't be pressure to stay in the top 25
so there is no reason they can not perform.
