This is exactly the one! Good looks on the picture too! I really liked the loud design of them. That's exactly how I'm feeling. Finally knowing the name of the shoe, I found some more photos online. These were a good takedown.
I learned the hard way not to trust that launch locator, always make a trip or make a call, if its something you really want
I said earlier in the thread that the pair I was thinking of wasn't the Flight Motion. I'm about 90% sure they were Thrill Flights, but they were all metallic silver synthetic leather. I was excited when dbff remembered them, thinking I wasn't alone... only for the pair he remembered to turn out to me the Flight Motion
curious at how long that traction on 95's lasted for you guys. my pair lasted one season. didn't even make it to summer league. I ended wearing them as casual. $110 (if I remember correctly) was a lot of money for a shoe, at least for my family. my parents bought them no question..I was shocked. one of my favorite shoes ever. i hope they bring back the blue colorway
Yeah I'm not super close but I made the trip over. I love how a dude walks in the store in front of me wearing those atrocious Seahawk 6 lows or whatever and literally all 4 employees ask him if they can help him out, what he's looking for, etc. I had come from work so was just wearin some SB beaters (not even dunks) and no one said one single word to me. Pretty standard, but I digress....
yeah but i usually dont want help from those hype beast know nothings (usually) that work at sneaker store anyways, even when i ask if they know when or if they are getting something they look at me like im speaking chinese
Crabtree is always that way. I wish I could take that store over. The customer service would drastically improve. Looks like I'll just have to find these online some somewhere, hopefully sizing isn't weird.
lol i know the feeling. asked the manager when i came into HOH in Santa Monica if they got the zoom flight 95s...the jason kidds...and he's like no sorry. I go back to the bball section, and there it was. most of those workers aren't really into sneakers...just a job for them. however, it's always cool to come across those who actually know what they're talking about and are helpful. props to those workers if there's any on here.
if you have a house of hoops by you, i'd call or stop by to see if they got them in. the launch locator isn't very accurate, because the house of hoops in santa monica had them, but they didn't come up in the launch locator.
Damn, wanted a pair of these since I first saw a kid in my neighborhood wear them back in '95, but never could afford it. Now I'm all grown up, and STILL can't afford (ie, won't pay resellers' prices) the ones on eBay. Really hoping to cop a pair of these and the More Uptempo's when they drop.
Yea I've heard that complaint alot in the past. Alotta pro arhletes usually wear specially made ortho insoles in shoes they play in. Everyone's foot is shaped diff. I hardly ever use the OG insoles in any of my kicks. You can try a diff pair of insoles or none at all. May help
