For those who do not know. A few U.S. Diplomats were killed over the past couple of days in repsonse to a Zionist film maker that depicted Mohammed in a deragatory way, similar to the cartoons a few years back. Well, obviously and justifiably so, people of the Islamic faith got pissed. Unjustafiably, but not surprising they killed U.S. diplomats in which pics are below and they are graphic.

I was reading and article on the Huffington Post who questions the motives (and people) behind translating a film into Arabic that was not intended to be made into Arabic for Libyan and Egyptian youth.

Libyan Consulate Attack: Who's to Blame?

Posted: 09/12/2012 10:30 am

Yesterday, I spent the day walking the beach and quietly reflecting about my husband, who was killed on September 11th. Eleven years later, I am finally able to find my own peace.

By stark contrast, I woke up this morning to the news of four Americans killed in Libya and protests in Cairo. And, I asked myself "how could this have happened?"

Many people will assuredly believe that the only people to blame for this deadly violence are the Muslims who did it.

And undoubtedly, those who carried out this horrendous act are guilty.

But please remain mindful that the Muslims might not be the only ones responsible.

After reading reports including Al Jazeera's coverage below, some immediate questions came to my mind and I hope all Americans will demand the answers to these questions.

From Al Jazeera:

The film was made by an Israeli filmmaker, Sam Bacile, who has gone into hiding.
The film was promoted by Morris Sadek, an extreme anti-Muslim Egyptian Christian campaigner who lives in California.

Speaking by phone to the Associated Press from an undisclosed location, writer and director Bacile remained defiant, maintaining that he intended his film to be a provocative political statement.

Bacile, 52, admitted he had not anticipated such a furious reaction to his film and said: "I feel sorry for the embassy. I am mad".

He also said the film was produced in English and that he did not know who had dubbed it in Arabic.

The full film has not been shown yet, he said, and he said he had declined distribution offers for now.

The two-hour movie, "Innocence of Muslims'', cost $5m to make and was financed with the help of more than 100 Jewish donors, said Bacile.

Sadek said that he had promoted the video on his website and on certain TV stations, which he did not identify.

My Five Questions:

1. Who are the alleged "over 100 Jewish donors" who financed this film? Will they be sending their condolences to the families of the four Americans killed because of their film? Will they in any way be publicly held accountable for their support of this film and its message?

2. Will Sam Bacile, the filmmaker, and Morris Sadek, the film's promoter, be held accountable for their seeming incitement of terrorist acts against U.S. interests abroad?

3. Who allegedly translated this film into Arabic since it was originally not available in Arabic?

4. Specifically, how did this film get released and made available to Libyan and Egyptian youth on September 11th, particularly since it was apparently not readily available to them online in its full form?

In effect, in my opinion, somebody "pushed" this film out there to incite and spread hatred and rage in the Middle East on September 11th, and the identity of the person or organization behind this plot should be exposed and held accountable.

5. Given the broad and sweeping powers of the U.S. Patriot Act (an Act that I despise), will the U.S. government be electronically "backtracking" and investigating who is responsible for the creation, translation, and distribution of this film that has incited the senseless killings of four Americans? And will the families of those killed be able to hold any and all of these individuals or organizations accountable in an open court of law?

Finally, I offer my sincere condolences to the families of those killed yesterday; it breaks my heart to witness such violent acts particularly on the anniversary of September 11th

No coincidence that the Zionist regime has been leaking info of how Obama and how they were "snubbed" by a meeting and going on all over the news channels talking about how much of a "threat" Iran. There has also been talk that these attacks were coordinated by the groups of people the U.S. supported the past few years. War drums are beating louder by the week.

Blowback has struck again.

It's sad they do all this killing in the name of religion. Sometimes I wonder what this world would be like if religion never existed at all. (WAY better off).

The writer for that piece seemed like she was afraid to come out & say Israel is behind this in an effort to incite Muslim violence specifically towards the US with the hopes it would help in their efforts to engage in Iran...Yes I said it...Netanyahu has been all over the news saber rattling... Trouble is who has the money to go to war...European countries & the US are teetering on the brink of financial collapse, spending money they (we) don't have...

You people do realize that the United States gives orders to Al Qaeda right?

Ole Hill Dog probably has them on her speed dial.

Can you explain why it's justifiable to be upset over this "Innocence of Muslim" movie? I mean I checked out the trailers and started  at how cheesy, incompetent and horrible this piece of propaganda film is. The acting looked like it belongs in a porn flick. Technically I am a Christian but I can't say I totally believe that Christ will resurrect anytime soon. If someone made a film about Jesus and depicted him in a negative light, I would take it as nothing more than entertainment. Hell if someone took my bible and pissed on it or burn it, I would just go to Barnes and Noble and buy another copy. What's the big deal? I mean I have traveled to Indonesia and was subjected to the constant prayers over those loud speakers in the Mosques every few hours so I know how important the religion of Islam is to the population. Still though I just can't understand how a small time film like this can justify all the protest and violence.

I'm disgusted that this attack has only led to the expected to blame the Jews commentary

People defending this crap saying ohhh um well there was a mean movie made! So what!?

The guy makes a movie about how Muslims are violent and irrational. And then the response is basically lets prove him right by assassinating an ambassador? If the BS about the movie being the reason is even true and not you know the whole 9/11 anniversary.

Defending assasination because someone made a movie mocking Islam. That sounds okay?

It's Mossad lol.

They were shouting we are children of Osama. that's all this was about. A terrorist threat. But yes let's blame a movie. Because that's what Americans are known for. Repressing freedom of expression. Even if everything the movie said was false and full of bigotry. That doesn't mean you can go kill people and say its just.

Using the author's logic, couldn't folks like the Freedom Riders and their backers be blamed for venturing into the Deep South and inciting rage and violence?

This movie has Been out for quite some time. Whatever happened is way bigger than a bunch of people were offended at a movie.

Every one of these radical Islamic groups should be wiped from the earth.

They are savages.

Can't compare, bro. The people in that part of the world aren't all that educated. To us, yeah it is "cheesy", but to these people, they are just looking at an excuse. These people flip out if a women's head isn't covered.

This doesn't concern me. I don't speak Arabic, who knows what they were saying.

War is the solution to financial collapse. Always has been.

When I first heard about this, I was reminded by that one childhood saying - sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.

Since when it is against the law to produce and distribute a movie that's offensive to one group. The journalist wants the filmmaker and promoter to be held accountable for the film - for what??

We shouldn't have to tip-toe around extreme Islam because we fear what they might do or react.

.

Yeah that was how I tried to convey to some of my coworkers with their lame 'these 'people' are so stupid getting mad over a film" comments. Unfortunately a ton of Americans are just not connected to that part of the world and only know of the Muslim religion through the media. Most have never traveled to the middle east much less been to a 3rd world country to see first hand the extreme poverty, lack of employment, education, government services etc. Its actually depressing to realize how easy we Americans have it here in comparison.

I think it's silly to kick a beehive and expect not to get stung. But that's just my logic.

If you know the slightest thing provokes these people into carrying out acts of violence, why not tread lightly. As if anyone else who had done the same has not met the same fate.

How many times has a comic over the Prophet in sighted this kind of backlash? I feel like I hear this story every year...

For those that don't know, depicting the image of the Prophet is considered blasphemous. This is not news to people in government and politics who are trained on these matters.

The producer of an inflammatory YouTube video that provoked a violent attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya, in which four American diplomats were killed, may not be Israeli, as was previously reported by numerous media outlets.

Following Tuesday night's attack in Benghazi, a man who identified himself as "Sam Bacile," an Israeli-American real-estate developer from California, took credit for the amateurish clip.

In an interview with The Associated Press on Wednesday, the man claimed that the film had cost some $5 million to produce, and that the cost was covered by more than 100 Jewish donors.

However, in a post published in The Atlantic on Wednesday, Jeffrey Goldberg quotes Steve Klein, who claims to have served as a consultant to the makers of the film, as saying that the man who made the film is not Israeli, and probably not Jewish.

Klein told Goldberg in a telephone interview that the name Sam Bacile is a pseudonym, and that he has no idea what the man who made the film's real name is. He added that some 15 people were involved in the making of the controversial film, most of them American Evangelicals, but some of them Middle Eastern Christians.

Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor told the New York Times on Wednesday that the name Sam Bacile was "totally unknown in filmmaking circles in Israel." He added that the filmmaker was “a complete loose cannon and an unspeakable idiot.”

A report published by the Guardian on Wednesday linked the clip to Morris Sadek, an Egyptian-American Coptic Christian from California who runs a small anti-Islam group called the National American Coptic Assembly.

That my NT friend is a great myth created by war mongers. It's a way for powerful to sell their agenda. Look how much haliburton made at the expense of the US. Was our economy better pre/during/post war? Economist call this the Broken Window Fallacy.

Read more about it via the link below. The post explains it much better than I could...

If you follow that line of logic, then we need to wipe the Tea Party - American Taliban out of existence here in the states. Our forefathers came here to escape religious persecution. The first amendment was even written in part to make sure that we "restrict the promotion of religion" in our country yet the American Taliban wants to impose their religious doctrine on everyone. Lots of people forget this sort of fascism led to the OKC bombing, yet we're quick to lash out at muslims...

As if the OKC bombing wasn't a big enough example, I'll offer abortion clinic bombings, the guy that shot up the holocaust memorial... There are more than enough examples should you choose to pay attention. I'm for doing away with fanaticism regardless if if comes from the left or right & also religious...

Edit - The other thing more effective than bombs is passing laws legislating your doctrine like Voter ID Laws. If you can't get certain segments to vote for you, let's prohibit them from voting period.
