Very simple, buy 2 pairs, put the two lefts in one box and the two rights in the other, then get a refund on the two "wrong" shoes saying they were mismatched.

I agree with Bundy.

The bigger companies should have an ID type situation so people like this can still wear the shoes they want without having to buy the pair. I think it would be a benefit, and a good look for the company that decides to do something like that.

The situation is wrong and funny, but I'm sure the guy was very frustrated to resort to that. I mean put yourself in his shoes (or shoe in this situation) would you want to pay for a pair knowing you'd only wear one?
