You won't get a career-related job out of college with a poli sci major unless it's an internship.

Your only two options as far as staying within your field are internship or law school

What year are you currently in? What are you interested in doing as a career?

Join the army. with a bachelors, you will start out automatically a higher rank than other recruits. Errybody else will be an E1 while you'll be an E3 I believe...... That doesn't really matter though. The important thing would be the field you choose to focus on. Poly Sci would put you in a job related to intelligence. Serve 3 years while basically getting everything paid for, building your resume like a mug, and gaining that good ol' life experience. Then when you get out, the service will pay for 3 years of college so you could finish up a Masters?

Just 1 option, since you were asking for options.

Law school is your only option. Everyone I went to school with for poli sci that didn't go to law school are now either realtors or grade school teachers.

Find a policy area that you care about and become an expert in it, law school or a masters degree or something along those lines.

Become a political consultant and work on campaigns.

    Go into Academia.

    My 2 cents.

I'm currently in a masters of applied American politics and policy program.
