Wait what do you mean?? The 80g cant play ps2 games but the 40g can?? well good thing i saved my ps2...cuz i have over 40 ps3 games... well from the list imago get cod4 and assasins

the 80gb CAN play MOST ps2 and PSX titles. it processes them through software encoding inside the system compared to the 60gb model which does it with ahardware converter within the console.

the 40gb doesnt have ANY sort of BC

ohhh... i get you... but ill just keep the ps2... the ps3 was meant for the cool graphics/sound/blu ray, and the great 2008 game line-up right??

Naw man...these dudes confusing you. I don't even have a PS3 but I know the 80 gig is backwards compatible, but not fully backwards compatible. The 40 gigis not BC at all. The 60 gig is fully BC. If playing PS2 games on your PS3 ever becomes a crave...

theres so many good games for the ps3 rite now its not even funny... i had a hard time picking out a game yesterday cuz i only had a choice of 1 game forxmas... decided to go with that new wrestling game cuz it looks fun and i dont have that in my library... i didnt want to cop the same games i have already...but once i get money im a get like 3 games in 1 shot lol... im a get assasin creed, cod 4, and heavenly sword... and maybe pick up that drake game too...
