Places to see in Panama (central america)?

Has anyone been to Panama recently? I am going with my girl in a few months for about a week. Planning to stay in the city a few days, maybe go to Bocas Del Toro a couple days, and see a few other sites also. For those who have been there what did you do and what places were most memorable? Thanks.

whatever u do, DONT go to Colon(where i was born)...u think any hood in the US is bad.....

The city is nice tho!

I never been to Panama but it looks hella nice. If you can, try and make it out to Costa Rica for a weekend or something. Its only like $60 round trip from Panama.
