the configurator for the speedster is up and fun to play with. i wonder what kind of ADM dealerships will be charging and what kind of money one must have spent to even get an allocation.

Man I used to not like Porsches. They were below supercars but above regular sports cars. Then, I got into cars for real...

The first Taycan models you’ll be able to purchase are the Turbo and Turbo S, with less powerful variants to be added later this year. Meanwhile, the first derivative to be added will be the Taycan Cross Turismo, scheduled to arrive at the end of next year.

Both the Turbo and Turbo S feature 616 HP (625 PS), but that’s where the similarities stop.

The Taycan Turbo can offer its driver up to 671 HP with Overboost, while the Turbo S can muster a peak 750 HP (761 PS). The latter also has more torque with 774 lb-ft (1,050 Nm) versus the Turbo’s 627 lb-ft (850 Nm). This results in the latter accelerating to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.0 seconds with the aid of Launch Control, while the Turbo S can hit that same mark in just 2.6 seconds. If you’re also interested in 0-124 mph (200 km/h) times, the Taycan Turbo will get there in 10.6 seconds, while the Turbo S in 9.8 seconds. As for top speed, both versions will max out at 161 mph (260 km/h).

Porsche have always done well. I would take a GT3 or Skyline GTR as my dream car

I wasn’t even considering a targa at first.
I think the targa suits the lines of the 992 very well

For me the top 911 is the GT3 RS 4.0! EVERYTHING about that car is the perfect track car for me. Weekend car would be the Porsche Speedster

As standard, every new 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 will be fitted with a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission, but the six-speed manual will still be an option. 0-60 mph (96 km/h) comes in just 3.2 seconds for the PDK-equipped 911 GT3 (0-100 km/h in 3.4), with the top speed set at 197 mph (317 km/h). Models fitted with the manual transmission require 3.7 seconds from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h in 3.9), but offer a slightly higher top speed, at 199 mph (320 km/h).
