Yup it's a texture thing, don't like scallops for the same reason. Or poorly done lobster.

exactly what im thinking coconut shrimp is bomb!!!! along with coconut crab !!!!

but i dont think ill be eating eel as much ...i had it on a sushi roll not to long ago and my stomach didnt agree with it later on
