\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

that Firebird doe!

we had a 1974-75 Trans Am 400, back in the 80s growing up

i swear i want an old school Camaro 70-73 split bumper sooooo bad

something about an old car with no electronic nannies controlling everything, and an actual key to crank that V8 to life

Anyone with deep knowledge in audio? I just want something crisp/clear and actually feel the bass hit.

Guy online had this in his accord and moving on from it to something else. Asking $550 (+ship possibly)

JL Audio 10W3v3-2 10" 2-ohm Component Subwoofer

I went to our better audio shop in town and they quoted me $1600 installed  (seems extremely high?)

Quote For:
I dont remember the exact part numbers
JL 12" Sub
LC2i
JL Amp
Sub Box
Wiring, labor, etc

550 is fair second hand and yes 1600 is super OD.

I had a similar setup in my whip in highschool. With a proper ported box it'll Thumppppp. I had a 12inch w3 and a 1000w JL amp tho.

Stock car audio systems have gotten BRAZY the last decade and a half. Dont seem need to go aftermarket anything to get that knock

Yeah im not trying to have ridiculous trunk rattling, annoy the neighbors etc type of thump. Just that feeling when you do wanna let it rock you got that beat you know rap/r&b has in it. Nothing OD.

$550 sounded good compared to what the shop quoted me (which did sound really good in the store but not 1600 worth)

Got the list of what the shop quoted:
LP7
LP7R
5Ch Amp Kenwood
12" JLW1 or JLWI
Sub Box
Wire, Install/Labor

Anyways yeah $550 and maybe a cpl hundred to have it wired in. 10" is what i was looking into intially anyway but wanted some opinions before diving in on it

Me too mane. Need that 67 chevelle with a 454
The smell of a carburetated motor is kind of nice I'm sure it might get old tho

^Weathertech ftw

So I got a ticket for making an illegal u-turn about a month ago. I check today to see how much the fine is and it says the violation was code 4461(a) for cali. Looks like whoever inputted the information did it incorrectly. What are the odds that my ticket will either get dismissed or a lowered fine when I go to court? I'm gonna make sure to be on my best behavior when I speak to the judge lol.

Most of the time a mistake gets the whole thing thrown out. Judge don't want to sort that stuff if the officer can't get it right the first time.

if they stop using the cheapest plastic they can find, interiors could look a lot better.

leather covered everything would be nice, esp in my Camaro(the plastic sucks)

overall layout is nice tho, wish it had a bigger info screen too
