Post your #COVIDPROJECT Vol. Passing time

I don’t even know tbh. I’m a complete noob when it comes to it  I just want one that is rectangular but stands up vertically. I went it for the lighting/sound/ “vibe” that tanks give, nice and relaxing :smokin I haven’t looked into it much

post yours tho

the place I’m gonna cop my bonsai from is opening back up in a couple weeks so I’m gonna grab a couple. Red Japanese maple and then a couple others not sure yet

This is a little 25g mixed reef I've been working on. Gonna shift my focus to SPS corals and add a couple of more fish over the summer.

I've always been fascinated by bonsai but gonna wait for years.

Haha it's a species of cleaner shrimp. Red Fire shrimp to be exact.

They have a symbiotic relationship with the fish.

They'll set up shop upside down like that and clean the fish of parasites that can live on the scales.

I never got pics before or after with the garage empty but oh well.

Its not finished, debating if we want to tackle the mud/taping ourselves or just hire someone.

Next things to do, build hanging storage racks and a tire rack. Summer is almost fully here so it may be spread out over the next 3 months

Edit: this morning as i left with no cars inside. So once we get the racks up most of that current rack will be stored over head. After that can cut down on the rack 2 levels

do you have a garage / extra space?

I downloaded Tik Tok and man... It's addicting. I got about 30k followers somehow in a month and now I can't stop lol. Not sure if you can qualify that as a "project" but it's helped pass the time lol.

Nice! Our garage is already fairly big w/ decent overhead storage (rafters) but we bought overhead shelving from Costco that's life changing. You can sort of see it on the right hand side. We just put in the shelving over a new deep freezer we got a couple months ago. The one downside to our house is not having a laundry room "inside". Garage1.jpg

Yeah i have been debating on biying those from costco or building some. From my estimates on cost its like $140-160, costco racks on sale were $239 but full price $350.

Here's kind of how id like to build them if we did

It warmed up like high 70/80s for cpl weeks but temps dropped to low 40s yesterday and today. End of week supposed to warm up again.

June is like a month "spring" type weather here. Dont get full on hot til last week in June

me and the fam live in the back unit of a 3/2 duplex with no garage and no backyard since there's a detached efficiency back there

it's warm year round here in south florida, but our "summer" usually starts in mid-april when the humidity starts rising

Got this bike mount:
Amazon product ASIN B00MJCSBJ4
Cheap and very sturdy. I would recommend it if you are looking for one.

Havent gotten around to anything else on my list yet.

1. Gotta mud/tape the new drywall (might paint in the fall)
2. Put up the storage racks some point this summer
3. Will get a tire rack up for my winter wheels/tires
