So here's how that pick up above went down.
I see a blurry one photo vaguely described listing. Within 2-3 hrs of it starting, I contact the seller. Dudes not home and out of town but the wife believes they are grey under. I couldn't get photos and didn't want to play message tag so I send in a offer, a bit below his bin, but above his initial start price. Offer accepted.

Here where it gets interesting. He can't ship for 2-3 days. So when he does ship, apparently it was to the wrong address. So it had to be sent back and reshipped. At some point I thought maybe he got a better offer and was holding out. Luckily that patience and the hunch paid off.

I'd include the fashion caps too (up on eBay btw. I would dump to any Nt member for bargain prices.)

Now here's the good stuff

Close up of the rarely seen mid 2000s Ray's on field.

Even rarer, the all black big Jay logo in wool fashion.

I haven't even looked online since. Don't think I can top this find ever again.

There was one dud. A 7 1/8 white Sox on field. All the others surprisingly turned out 100% okay. If anyone has interest in the white Sox cap, let me know.

Heres the listing photo.

@cedric ceballos and myself both agreed the darker than usual (almost purple) wahoo was a small give away leaning towards wool. You don't see common era shiny ne stickers without the full brim sticker on caps like the TB and Marlins too often. That's definitely era specific. But sometimes sellers add their own stickers or remove some and not the others. Mostly it was quite the toss up and gamble. Good end result for sure.

Stupid question for those who like the world series patches on fitteds. Would you still cop the fitted even if the team lost the series? For example, I have a Marlins fitted with the 97 WS patch. They obviously won that series against the Indians. The Cleveland fitted is also available with the patch and I like the fact that the Chief Wahoo logo appears to be bigger. But I can't bring myself to cop because they lost. Am I alone here?

demonbasketball04 That's a dionic brand fitted. I don't think he has any true team associations. They're just generic graphics and HC has his stuff available. Basically a graphic designer with unique designs.

Unless my team lost in a heartbreaking finish, there are some instances I won't wear WS or SB or season branded gear. Generally though, I own both a Mets and Yankees 2000 WS cap. Such a historic event. I love wahoo and have both a 2016 WS and 95-97 WS patch caps. Can't say I wear them frequently though. So maybe the patch does have some bad vibes that I try to avoid.

HC is having 25% off everything for the holiday weekend. Hit me up if you need some advice on how to apply the coupon code to on sale items. It does work but not right out the gate.
