Sup Nters.
I am travelling to USA next week for a month and want advice about mobile phone options? No way I'm paying those damn roaming charges.... come back to a 2k phone bill...F dat.
So can anyone give me advice on pre-paid? I have an iPhone 5. Is it as easy as buying a USA sim card and pop that into my phone? Do you guys have monthly pre-paid phone and data usage?
Eg: In Australia you can buy a sim card.. pop it in your phone and buy a $50 pre-paid charge. That gives you about $500 of talk time plus 1GB of internet data. (all must be used over the month or you lose it)
Same in USA?
Any help would be good as well as best telcos to use...
