Question about Verizon and ESN#

is there any possible way.. or even software that can change the esn number on a CDMA phone?
in my case i got my friends old LG dare, but verizon just aint lettin it happen.. any suggestions??

Not possible. If it were your "friends" he would be able to call and have Verizon unlock it.

they did, but they got like a $500 debt and now its reported lost/stolen. verizon wont unlock it for me until she pays it off...

If it was lost or stolen he can call and have it taken off the negative list.

did you try google? And yes there is a way to change esn's

ive been trying to google it for a couple hours, and still no real direct way to do it. just a bunch of failed attempts with different software :/

dont think so, if there was people would easily make money off buying bad ESN phones.
