Question about wheels for my car...

What is the best value + look + size for a 2004 Ford Explorer. I am looking for wheels and tires. I dont know where to begin to look or know much about goodprice, etc.

that car looks amazing the way it is. what look are you going for?

I would be cautious about changing the wheels/tires on a truck because it's possible that it could mess with any potential truck-like performance.i.e. I would hesitate to jump a curb if I put 22"s on that thing.

I've got the same car, except mine is the XLS

.....anyhow, go to www.tirerack.com and you can place different rim styles on the vehicle and see what the lookwould be like.....for this car 22's seem to be the acceptable norm....

If I was you I'd just tint the windows and put a nice radio in it, but if you really want some rims put it on 22's.

For new 22' rims and tires I'd say $1200 is a good price, give or take $100
