I know about the "300 Posts + 3 Months of Membership Required To Make Classified Listings" rule, but if I am a new member, am I still allowed to buy and trade? ...and how do you make a trade on niketalk? how does it work?

And how would you go about making a trade listing if you are unable to post in the classified section

idk, I'm asking you guys. I've been here for like 3 days, my friend who put me on to niketalk said I could send a private message or something, but I'm unsure about the whole process.

exactly that... You'd need to private message seller and arrange the trade details through private message or another form of contact.

You must be a member for a total of 3 months, and have 300 posts.

I just submitted a post in the 10.5/11 for DS Jordan Retro XIs size 10.5 but I incorrectly wrote yesterday's date (2.21.13) on the tag. Do I need to retake pictures and resubmit?

    Thanks.

No. Any listings require the same membership time and total posts.

Trying to sell 2 pairs of shoes, 1st post in the classifieds. It was held for moderation.

If it doesn't get posted, why?

All posts in the buy/sell are held for moderation.

If it doesn't get approved, you should receive a PM with reasoning.

I've been a member since '01 and had 1,200 posts but lost all my post count during the switch. I went to post a classified ad and noticed that I only have 70 or 80 posts and can't post anything |I Is there anyway to get it fixed so I can post? I tried filling out the form to get my posts back but haven't ever heard anything back.

...I guess expired or closed listings are still search-able, if not through the search here, through search engines at least.

I constantly get inquiries about shoes I've sold months ago. ...Not a huge deal, and I'd rather have too much interest than too little. But, it's a minor annoyance.

If I google search to try to find an old B/S post of mine, I can find it rather easily.

Is there any fix, so people don't waste their time contacting folks about shoes in listings that have long since been closed?

the huddler staff is kind of busy with higher priorities.

i just change the title of my sold listings to be SOLD. id suggest posting SOLD also for extra clarity.

for the misc, 9 and under, 9.5/10 sections - all expired listings are eventually deleted. i usually go through the expired listings once a week. closed listings are pretty much sold listings in that section since its pretty much Open (not sold), Closed (sold), Expired (deleted).

Gotcha. I didn't even think to edit closed posts. That's helpful.

Is there a way to completely get rid of the closed listings? I receive random emails everyday about shoes that I haven't had in months.

You can always edit the title to sold.
