Here's a thread to mourn/remember Trugoy the Dove of the innovative rap roup, De La Soul. He was also known as Plug 2 & Dave. He has passed away at 54.

Bruhhh I was just watch the episode of Chappelle’s show where De La Soul was performing on the tour bus. Me, Myself and I was one of the first songs I remember asking my parents to turn up on the radio.

One of the groups that you had to “be there” in the early and mid 90s. My uncle and loved de la, EPMD, leaders of the new school, tribe. The whole native tongues movement!
