That kid is definitely not going to get low when he gets out.
I’d bet on him getting out and trying to spin the “I was a kid, I was getting extorted, gangs are wack, drugs are bad, they weren’t my friends, they were plotting to kill me, I just want to focus on my music, I love my fans, I have a kid I have to take care of” angle and going down that route.
And you’d be kidding yourself if you don’t think some of these people would buy it.
And like @tyisny said them industry office folks probably love him, so he'll get a push. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he comes out and the same people that was ok with him playing this super blood role act like "well why can't he change his life around".

An investigation has been opened into an NYPD policeman who purportedly told his fellow officers to shoot 50 Cent, TMZreports.
Insiders say that commanding officer Emanuel Gonzalez made the remark in June 2018 during roll call at the 72nd Precinct. Fif was set to attend an NYPD boxing match in the Bronx, which provoked Gonzalez to say, “Shoot him on sight.”
Gonzalez and 50 have beef, according to the Daily News. The month before, Gonzalez filed an aggravated harassment complaint alleging 50 intimidated him on Instagram. 50 had claimed Gonzalez was guilty of “shaking down” the owner of one of 50’s favorite clubs. Afterward, Fif wrote on Instagram, “Get the strap,” according to Gonzalez. The comment was one of 50's catchphrases throughout 2018.
Though the cop has said it was only a joke, the incident was reported to his superiors in his department and is being investigated by Internal Affairs. Gonzalez is still on active duty after being a cop for 30 years.
50's rep told TMZ, “Mr. Jackson takes this threat very seriously and is consulting with his legal counsel regarding his options going forward. He is concerned that he was not previously advised of this threat by the NYPD and even more concerned that Gonzalez continues to carry a badge and a gun.”
