9/11 happened & has shaped our society into what it is today. Sikhs were/are even catching hell strays for resembling Muslim aesthetics . Celebs ain't putting themselves into that position & I don't blame them. Terrible idea business wise, just look at Lupe since "Obama is terrorist/Free Palestine", man didn't contextual his stance in that ordeal enough & shot himself. Plus, the Palestine vs Israel thing isn't really taught and is a fairly new ordeal. It's also on the other side of the world & Islamic governments don't really help themselves gain sympathy from what I'm aware of. Not worth sticking their necks out like that tbh.
 
America was built off slavery. They openly lynched and hung people, in front of crowds of black slaves, and white onlookers (who pretty much were like spectators at a sporting event) as a scare tactic to basically keep us in fear. I don’t want to hear that nonsene. America continued to be hypocritical and the day of reckoning is already here. Jay Elect is being truthful

You say this as if America gives a damn about Black ppl. It isn't fair, so what? 3 out of 5 slaves were considered ppl as a compromise until 1865. 5 blacks = 3 whites. You can not want to hear that nonsense all you want. The real nonsense is no matter what or how much you or your ancestors have contributed to this country and the Americas as a whole, an overwhelming majority doesn't give a ****.

USA claims “religious freedom” but everything is about Christianity and the enemies are always Muslim, I take any religious talk in this country with a grain of salt

Listen to Philly from Steady B, EST and Cool C to Tracey Lee and RAM Squad. Where was the distinct Philly sound? What happen is that after State Property was they developed one and like all areas people copy what they think will work. That's why you had a bunch of Haddy clones, Meek clones, Quilly, Cassidy. Which morphed in to a Philly sound.

Major FIggas are Philly rap legends? They are? Yea That's Us? Did they leave a mark? Maybe because they got a deal, but separate that and Gillie was inferior to Spade, Dutch, Ab Liva and Bump J.

This was 97. They predated all of them.

Major Figgas is Philly legends off the strength of the mixtapes and the whole wave, not the mainstream ****. Apparently Wallo actually the one who started it in 96 then he went to jail. Spade, Liva and everybody else joined in 97. Beanie Sigel from the same time period but Major Figgas predates State Prop and the style is different than Ram Squad

That Clipse song you posted is the 2nd single from 99

This a Gillie street single from 97-98



Like some Mase/Harlem flow type **** (Push love Mase too), but a lil different. A lot of the Philly flows got a similar internal rhyme scheme. Clipse used a similar scheme too but the delivery was clearly still different at the time, not as "stylized" and direct yet

This is 98, a classic Philly freestyle and freestyle instrumental



Everybody on the track basically doing a version of the flow tho, same rhyme scheme/set up

According to Push he met Gillie and Liva out in Philly in 1997, Tony Draper was tryna sign Gillie to Suave House after those street singles dropped and Clipse was running around w Tony. Then they met Sandman through Liva after that and spent a lot of time out there



Makes 100% sense Grindin broke in Philly too

Edit: Gillie wasn't the best in the crew but he had the charisma and one of the better rap voices, kinda like how Meek wasn't the most technical out of the scene

Co-sign Major Figgas being rap legends in Philly. Them *****s are talked about with legend status up there. Even Beans, Oschino, Meek and all them cats that came after them or were beefing with them...say THEY was THEM *****s. And was the ones popping in the city.

Clipse/Neptunes/Pharrell etc being locked in with Philly for a min. Phillys Most Wanted popped before clipse. Almost forgot that was Pharrell group. Funny enough, they brought Beanie to Jay Z. And then the whole state prop thing kicked off after.

This issue isn’t really direct to Palestine Muslim’s that are being occupied by the Israelites - it’s also the Palestine Christians (they were prevented to pray at the church during Easter). This is happening to ALL Palestine people as a whole.

What’s going on with the silence is a political stance - but standing up for humanity is worth sticking your neck out for period.

The Western world thrive on capitalist/political gains and self greed.

I don’t expect America’s gov’t to take a stance on this when they have yet to acknowledge their own disgrace of oppression and killing of Black People as of today. Let alone Palestinians and the Uighur’s Chinese.

In the case of Israel, it's not a religious thing. They doing what America did. Beat down and subjugate the Palestinians and the Ethiopians there.
