"Rape" as a terminology for high prices disallowed

Joined Dec 8, 1999
From now on, the term "rape" as a substitution for high prices won't be allowed at Niketalk anymore.

It belittles the actual gruesome meaning - using it for something as trivial as high priced sneakers, which by the way you choose to buy and are not forced upon you, shows a lack of taste as well as of semantics.

If you continue to use the term, you'll have to face the usual Niketalk consequences.

I'm sure that the vast majority of the users will agree with this. Although I agree that simply banning certain terms is not always the best way to get rid of them (some just fade away), I think that this particular case if worth of such a strict enforcement.
