IMO, for basketball they were not breathable enough and the strap cut into my ankle.

But as kick around shoes they are unique and fun and look interesting to others.

I first saw them on Juwan Howard during sportscenter when Kilborn was doing the show and he was calling George Muresan HORHAY.
