TORONTO - Autopsy results on the body of a Barrie, Ont. teen found three weeks after he ran away from home reveal he died of injuries to his chest.

A post-mortem examination on Brandon Crisp, conducted at the Chief Coroners Office in Toronto, state the injuries are consistent with falling from a tree.

Using dental records, coroners confirmed the body found Wednesday in a wooded area by hunters was that of the 15-year-old.

Police released the information Saturday after giving the findings to his family last night.

They have also ruled out foul play.

Brandon's parents say he fled home following a dispute with them over his obsessive Xbox video gaming habits.

if kids in africa lived here they would do the same stupid things

but he was dumb for that

Both parents and the kid share the blame equally for this tragedy. Interestingly it was never ever mentioned that the parents purchased a 'Mature'17+ title for their kid throughout the ordeal.

You know I don't think parents even look at the ratings, I don't think they even know about them to be honest.

I remember reading about the story, and I was hoping that the kid would've gone home by now. Its a tragedy to see things like this happen, but it happens.I agree with what Jumpman said. Why did the parents buy the teem a Mature rated game in the first place??

Some people just have bad parenting skills. Both the teen and the parents are at fault for this mess.

R.I.P.

All of our parents have bought us M rated games at onetime or another. You are acting like a M rated game makes people lose touch with society. It's their fault that their kid didn't know how to put thecontroller down and have an active life like a normal teenager.

Yeah, but the kid was 15. I thought he was younger than that. When you're 15, you're supposed to be grown enough not to run away from your home becauseof a video game.

He was too old to do something that stupid.

I'm sure that banning COD4 from his life was just a tip of the iceberg, has to be more to the story....

IMHO...The parents should be charged with something...

How you allow your child to even be that susceptible to this type of behavior should be a crime...Parents dont know how to parent anymore...

Thats the issue people are failing to see here....

Kids are a direct reflection of the people raising them. If you can't instill some sort of boundaries and morals from the jump, then forget being any typeof influence in the future....

!*% doesn't work like that...

Think about it, a 15 yr old kid acting like that? Something is wrong....

Someone is to blame.....
