Remembering 9/11 ----- 24 Years Later

Just like most said here before, I was in highschool, teacher stop class and they wheel in a big old TV, we all watched it unfold in real time.

i was in junior high in "social studies" class in Queens NY
at the time in that part of queens my school was one of the tallest buildings around you had a clear view of the NYC skyline
my teacher stopped class and OPENED THE WINDOW and was like here yall go ... HISTORY
we watched as the second plane hit .. then he was like nahhhhhhhhh lets get away from these windows

Man that’s absolutely nuts. My brother worked in the pentagon. Worked right where it go hit. Right before he did he went to piss. Then on the way back he went to say what’s up to a friend. Bye bye office. Dude was a high five away from death

I will never forget that day. Sophomore in high school and the teacher had the TV on and we watched the second one hit live. my brain couldn't comprehend and I just kept thinking this gotta be a movie or some ****. I remember saying "what's next? the white house or pentagon?" Teacher said no way and then the Pentagon got hit and they sent us home. Living in the DMV, you hear helicopters and planes all the time but that day it was so eerie how quiet the skies were.

It was crazy driving past 395 for weeks and still smelling the jet fuel and human flesh. That smell will never leave me.

I remember waking up for school and hearing the TV on full-blast and both my parents were home. Saw the TV and was surprised, but it didn't really hit me, until I got to school.

My sister and mom worked in the Pentagon. My sister was out that day and my mom worked on the other side. She said she remembered seeing people running through the building covered in smoke. Crazy day

What did he say about the airplane hitting the pentagon at that time ? I was always curious about the scenario since the internet was flooded with info right after the attacks that it could not have been a plane hitting the pentagon.

We're they like "what's with all the conspiracies ? We were all there"?

freshman in HS.. west coast time but for some reason during those times i'd wake up super early.. watched the 2nd plane hit on the news. went to school and music teacher rolled out the tv and we just watched the news the whole time.. rip victims.

He said they thought it was a bomb of some sort. Nobody looked to see what it was, once it hit the place emptied. Many just packed up and dipped out. He’s actually my brother in law, so once that happened the first thing he left to do was go get my sister.

Only real talking happening was to get ready to deploy. He was in the army at the time.
